It’s pho weather ya’ll!!! 🍜 Oh my word, I’m so happy to say that I now understand all the fuss about Pho Me Vietnamese Noodle Bar!!! As per my usual at any new place (well, and any not new place too), I loaded up on a lot LOL.
Pho Me, located at 2320 Apalachee Pkwy, 32301, is owned and operated by two sisters serving up delicious soup and noodle dishes, Vietnamese banh mi, a smattering of rice options as well, and nutella donuts!
And this is what I love about our Tallahassee Foodies Facebook Group! I was sure you all would help me discover places somewhat near and definitely far from my house. But to my surprise, Pho Me is less than 2 miles away, so I will be visiting them often! I’ve made quite a few discoveries within a 5 mile radius from my home thanks to this group!
I went for the Mi Quang noodle soup (turmeric based soup simmered with pork served over phở noodles topped with grilled shrimp and peanuts) and it is phenomenal! I asked for extra noodles and an egg.
I also added on the summer roll packed with shrimp, pork, vermicelli, herbs, and lettuce wrapped in rice paper and served with a peanut sauce. Because I was craving sweets, I also picked up their cheesecake spring roll, which is literally a roll stuffed with a New York style cheesecake, fried, and then topped with a lemon raspberry sauce.
I brought it home and plated everything because food photography is fun for me. I finished about a third of my lunch and I am stuffed. Everything was amazing.
