Pickling 101 with Chef Randy Blass

Join Chef Randy Blass, Culinary Director at Ology Northside, for a fun and informative pickling class. Learn how to preserve fresh produce by pickling using the shelf stable canning method, plus Chef Randy will teach us how to make a quick 24 hour pickles, too. Learn how to make old bay pickled okra, dill and garlic cucumbers, cumin green beans, and bread and butter pickles.
We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip. We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one. We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.
This is a demonstration class with a hands-on element.
Class participants will receive 10% off purchases made the day of the class!
All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest. In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to. If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
