2021 Tomato Feastival
June 6, 2021 @ 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
tomato contests, family-friendly games, and of course tomato sandwiches!
The Red Hills Small Farm Alliance’s annual Tomato Feastival is back and in person this year! The Feastival will be on Sunday, June 6 from 2 – 6 p.m. at Goodwood Museum and Gardens. We are so excited to be able to gather again safely and cherish one of our most fruitful seasons of the year. Join us in celebrating the great tomato and our vibrant farming community here in the Red Hills Region. This event has something for everyone and is a fundraiser for the Red Hills Small Farm Alliance, a 501c3 non-profit organization, working to support our local food producers continue to feed the community.
Activities planned: Lawn games, Live music by Moondance with Paul Boyle, Farmers Market with tomatoes and other locally-grown fruits and veggies, a Raffle of local products and services, Cake Walk (socially distanced!), AND Tomato Contests – categories for best tomato, ugliest tomato, largest tomato.
There will also be some fantastic food/beverage options for attendees: Classic Southern Tomato sandwiches made with farmer grown tomatoes, Sausage dogs by Glendower Farms, Ice Cream by Southern Craft Creamery, Tomato Pie by KitchenAble, Beckster’s Satsuma Wheat from Lake Tribe Brewing Company, and more.
Event dates/times are subject to change. Please contact the event venue to confirm before attending.
