I’m noticing a trend here. Doak Campbell Stadium is now home to 3 locals in food and beverage this football season, and they have chosen very well. Not only are they supporting local, which we love, but they’re serving up Tallahassee fan favorites!
Proof Brewing Co.
Yes, the stadium serves beer now!!! Doak’s intro season to serving brews will feature Proof Brewing Co.’s best sellers. For immediate release, “Proof Brewing Co. will be sold in the five concession locations during home football games in 2019. Eightfive-0 Pale Ale and Mango Wit Belgian-style Wit will be included in the two locations within Doak Campbell and three areas outside the stadium.”
“We are beyond thrilled for this opportunity and support from FSU,” said Founder, Byron Burroughs. “We can’t wait to cheer on our hometown team and provide our fans at the game with a fresh local craft beer.” I, for one, am ready to be served!
Tally Mac Shack
As we shared recently, Tally Mac Shack just moved into Doak with their very own kitchen and counter service space. Their menu will consist of 4 to 5 options, rotating depending on the team we are playing. I’m hoping for some fun menu names in the spirit of each game – perhaps a gator tail Mac when we play those, well, you know who!?!?!
The Sugar Fix – Shaved Ice Truck
The Sugar Fix is officially contracted with Florida State University for 2019-2020 football at Doak! They will have 2 stands on the lower level of the stadium this Fall! The Sugar Fix serves fluffy, authentic Hawaiian shaved ice, stacked insanely high and flavored with limitless combinations of gourmet syrups. I hit their truck recently and their Chocolate Fix shaved ice was surprisingly rich and delicious with a hunk of chocolate ice cream in the middle.
I think my combination will be a Proof Eightfive-0 Pale Ale with some gator tail Tally Mac Shack, followed by a Chocolate Fix shaved ice, all while watching our Noles? Go Team, Noles + Locals! We appreciate you Doak Campbell Stadium!
