  • Birds Aphrodisiac Oyster Schack – “That Bird’s Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack porch on a spring day in Tallahassee is always a good idea! We enjoyed local beer, mahi fritters, oysters raw and baked, a massive burger, and my favorite – the grouper sandwich with jerk seasoning, grilled pineapple and sautéed onions!”, Jennifer Leale
  • Midtown Caboose – “Everything was delicious, service was great, and the outdoor deck was just lovely. They’ve got some creative sandwiches, great veggie options, huge burgers, and the most satisfying appetizers!”, Barby Moro
  • Sliders – A Sandwich Revolution – “On the first visit it has rocketed to one of our family’s favorite places in town! I ordered the John Hancock (2 beef brisket patties, cheddar, cherry smoked bacon, tomato, red onion, soft slider bun), John Paul Jones (sesame seared ahi tuna, Asian slaw, wasabi aioli, sticky soy), and loaded freedom fries (thick cut fries, beer cheese sauce, bacon, chives)”, Jihye Chang Sung
  • Smitty’s Taphouse & Grill – “We visited Smitty’s Taphouse & Grill for dinner for the first time. Why did we wait so long?!? My husband Robert had the Cheese Louise, which is a hamburger patty between a pair of grilled cheese sandwiches. Their hamburger is made of a blend of chuck, brisket, and ribeye- incredible flavor! I had the ribeye sandwich. Absolute 10/10 for flavor. Sliced ribeye with caramelized onions and Swiss cheese on a brioche bun. I could eat just a plate of the sliced ribeye.”, Kristin Barnette
  • Woodchucks Cafe – “Found a hidden gem the other day. Woodchuck’s Cafe – you might pass it by because it’s in a gas station parking lot but don’t do it. It may not be fancy but the food is fantastic. I had a burger (which is huge) and fries. They were amazing and my wife had a black bean burger – she said it was delicious.”, Look Up

  1. I want to put in a vote for the burgers at Ruby Tuesday. Delish! They can meet or beat any of the “designer burgers: in town. And on Tuesday they are 6.99 with an order of fries. They are my go to since Monks closed.
