And the hits just keep on coming. Another devastating loss for the restaurant community as Paisley Cafe’s owner Kiersten announces that they will be closing their doors after 8 years in Midtown.

This one was especially surprising to me based on the constant recommendations and rave reviews at our Tallahassee Foodies Facebook group. They always seemed busy and Paisley was the perfect chic spot with delicious food for hosting out of town guests and special events. I hosted a baby shower for a friend there, and I loved their shrimp and grits!

From Kiersten, “From Eight years ago I started a little cafe called Paisley in midtown. I have made so many friends and beautiful memories.. I will be closing the doors mid July. Thank you to my community, family and friends for all the love and support over the years.

Love, Kiersten πŸ’— @ Paisley CafΓ©”

I’d love to hear from restaurant owners. Please speak up and fill us in on what is going on? What can we as patrons do to help stop the closures of some of our favorite restaurants?

  1. So sorry to hear that you are closing. You came to the rescue when my son’s original wedding reception locale didn’t have power the weekend after Hurricane Michael! You pulled off a beautiful and delicious wedding reception for Arthur and Liz! Thank you.
