I am thrilled that a Facebook Group I started to keep in touch with lunch buddies just hit 100K members! That’s nearly half the population of Tallahassee! And not just any members – the Tallahassee Foodies Facebook Group is a community of 100K food loving, locals only, that agree to positive recommendations! We are so happy you all have joined us!
As much as I’d love a massive get together, since we can’t squeeze everyone into one room for an event, we’re going to have a city-wide “Cheer’s to 100K Members” celebration.

Congratulations on hitting 100K members! I was among your first 100 members when the Foodies group page was first created and was a loyal, dedicated, engaged poster — until I was removed and banned more than four years ago due to some ill-considered comments. I would like to apply for a “pardon” and rejoin the group — even if on a probationary basis (e.g., permanent removal if I offend again, which I assure you I will not; FYI, I’ve been a continuous member of Tallahassee Foodies Home and believe I have demonstrated the desirability of my membership). I hope the admins will show grace and allow my return to the group.
